Merry Christmas!

I've finally managed a little scrapping time since the kids started holidays YAY! and I'm hoping to do quite a bit more once all the festivities are over :-)

I saw this gorgeous page of Georgia Keays' on her blog. It totally inspired me & I wanted to have a go at it... so this is my page. Thank you Georgia for the awesome inspiration :-)

I haven't done a challenge page in SO long! so I've made myself a little list of some that I would like to get done soon. I saw this great sketch set by the lovely Chloe over at Scrapz.biz.

And here is my page using some yummy goodies from Rainbow Splendour, Eye Candy Magic & Charms Creations.

In the New Year my youngest starts Prep. I'm quite sad thinking about how quickly my 3 gorgeous babies have grown :-(.  Everyone asks me what I'm going to do with myself... I think I'll find something to do LOL! I'm very involved in the school so I imagine I will spend even more time there once all 3 start & I think I deserve some more scrapping time in there too... well I hope I do anyway LOL!

I'd like to wish everyone a wonderful & safe Christmas & New Years! I hope 2012 is a great year for you. Thank you for all the gorgeous comments that you've left for me since starting my blog... I really enjoy reading them & they always make me smile :-)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Retreat shares

A big hello to everyone! I've been off-line for a while due to a number of things... my computer had to go away twice for repairs which was a tad frustrating; we went away to the Gold Coast for a fabulous (& much needed) holiday & this last school term has been SO busy!! You all know what I'm talking about on that count LOL!

So, given all of the above, scrap time has suffered very badly :-(   I did go on a retreat at the end of October with some wonderful friends & we had a fabulous few days away together. I struggled on the creating side though... just couldn't get into the groove unfortunately. I'll share my pages but they are pretty simple & nothing rave worthy LOL!

So here goes :-)
One of my scrappy friends challenged me to use yellow & clocks to scrap this photo of us all taken at the retreat. I used some Authentique for the first time.

Then a couple of school pages

Some Christmas pages.

And to finish off, a double...

So is everyone ready or nearly ready for the big, jolly fellow in red? I am thank goodness :-) I don't like shopping at the best of times and I don't cope well with crowds so I REALLY try hard to have all my Christmas shopping & preparations done well before the end of school... this year I succeeded YAY!

Thanks for stopping by after I've been absent for so long everyone... I love your visits xx
